Vikae:
“VÏKAE is set to grace the stage with her unique brand of “calamity pop” or “pop with substance”. Ethereal melodies paired with cinematic baselines and thought provoking lyricism, she aims to inspire and connect with audiences with shared experiences. Inspired by her Ukrainian heritage, VÏKAE has begun writing in Ukrainian, Russian and English, and most recently released «ты мой океан» (You’re my Ocean) a song sung in two languages. Having played some of the countries biggest music festivals like Baydreams, Soundsplash, AUM, Mardi Gras, Big Gay Out and Dunedin o-week, VÏKAE has solidified her performance prowess. Her show has been reimagined and new unreleased music is a guarantee - along with her previously released bangers and mash. With plans to go to Europe next year, this self funded and self managed artist has already achieved massive milestones including featuring in the NZ Official Hot 20 and Top 20. With new music on the horizon and oversees collaborations in the works, it’s a very exciting time to witness this artist on her upwards trajectory. “
