Week 3
Paid
All Ages
As it's Writers Festival and Music Month at the same time, we combined the two and decided to hold a songwriting workshop. Whether you're just starting on your songwriting journey or are a seasoned songwriter wanting to gain a different perspective on writing, this workshop will have you creating, collaborating and exploring the many facets of songwriting. Maybe you'll even write a song to perform at our open mic night.
There is no requirement to be able to play an instrument but if you do please feel free to bring it as it can be fun to play as you learn. Especially as we'll cover some musical theory as well as song and lyric writing. No prior knowledge is necessary.
